Govt Uses ‘Super Sniffer’ Dog Squad To Protect Namibian Cheetahs From Poachers At Kuno National Park
In Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park, the government has introduced “super sniffer” dog squad to protect the newly introduced Namibian cheetahs from poachers. Notably, five-month-old German Shepherd ‘Ilu’, is undergoing training at Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force’s National Training Centre, and will soon join the “super sniffer” dog squad. This is to protect the cheetahs from wildlife traffickers, and poachers.
