IMD Issues Warnings For Exceptionally Heavy Rainfall In Few States, Light Rain In Few Others

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a severe weather warning for several Indian states. According to IMD, exceptionally heavy rains will lash areas of Maharashtra, Konkan, and Goa. As reported by the IMD, an orange alert has been issued in Mumbai due to extremely heavy to severe rains until August 12. This week is expected to bring moderate to light rain to Delhi and parts of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
