India, UK Agree To Deepen Indo-Pacific Synergy For Tackling China
Amidst the increasing Chinese presence in the Indo-Pacific region, India and the United Kingdom have agreed to strengthen co-operation in the region. In a meeting, External Affairs minister Jaishankar spoke to UK foreign secretary Dominic Raab on five areas including defence and security. Reportedly, both the countries have agreed on developing a 10-year plan. Moreover, they had discussed tackling issues like terrorism and Maritime security in the Western Indian Ocean.
