Indian Army Receives Israel's Heron Drones For Surveillance Operations
The Indian Army on November 30 received Israel's Heron drones, enhancing surveillance capabilities. The advanced drones will be deployed at Eastern Ladakh to keep a check on China's activities in view of the recent China-India conflict. The Defence Ministry procured these drones under the Emergency Financial Power, granted by PM Narendra Modi-led Government. The new weapons will be operational at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh.
