Indian Candidate Elected To Top Committee Of INTERPOL
CBI Special Director Praveen Sinha was elected as a delegate from Asia to the INTERPOL executive committee on November 25, according to sources. The Indian nominee won a tight poll in which contenders from China, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, and Jordan competed for two seats on the select panel. The elections took place in Istanbul at the 89th INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organisation) General Assembly, according to reports.
