Japan Airlines To support Gender Neutrality; Drops 'Ladies and Gentlemen' from Greetings
Japanese Airlines announced, as a measure to support gender neutrality, the airlines will stop using 'Ladies and Gentlemen' to greet passengers. Reportedly, the company decided to adopt neutral greetings from October 1, such as 'Good Morning Everyone' and 'Attention to all passengers'. The Airlines spokesman Mark Morimoto said, “We aspire to be a company where we can create a positive atmosphere and treat everyone with respect.”
