Karnataka Minister Steps Down On 'Moral Grounds' In Sex Tape Case
Karnataka's Water Resource Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi on March 3 resigned from his post following the controversy over his alleged involvement in sexual assault of a woman. Resigning on "moral grounds" and urging the government for a "fair investigation", Ramesh said, "The allegation made on me is far from the truth". Gokak MLA Jarkiholi also claimed of leaving politics if charges against him are proven true. Earlier, the minister’s intimate video went viral on March 3.
