Leaders Seek Federal Backing As Cases Of COVID-19 Rises: Germany
A key measure of Coronavirus infections in Germany rose sharply over the past week raising the prospect of tougher restrictions as winter approaches. Moreover, with the rising number of cases, county's state premiers are unlikely to lift rules requiring social distancing, wearing of masks, and proof of vaccination, recovery, or a negative test result to enter public places. However, the government is planning to recommend booster shots for the public.
