Maharashtra To Keep Existing Lockdown Measures Intact Till November 30
Owing to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the state, the Maharashtra government on October 29 decided to keep the existing lockdown measures intact till November 30. However, the government has earlier this month permitted hotels and bars to operate at 50% capacity. It also requested zonal railways to resume a limited number of suburban trains. Maharashtra is the worst affected state with over 130,286 active cases and at least 43,554 deaths.
