Narayan Rane Asked To Appear Before Nashik Police
Union Minister Narayan Rane has been asked to appear before the Nashik police at "12 noon sharp" on August 26 after his dramatic arrest on August 24 for his "slap Uddhav Thackeray" comment. He was subsequently granted bail eight hours later on a bond of ₹15,000. Rane argued in the Raigad court that the charges were politically motivated while also citing his ill health and his Cabinet ministry.
