NASA Appoints Indian-American Bhavya Lal As Acting Chief Of Staff

US Space agency NASA on February 1 appointed Indian-American Bhavya Lal as its Acting Chief of Staff considering her contributions to the space sector. As per NASA, Bhavya has extensive space-engineering experience through membership at Institute for Defense Analyses' Science and Technology Policy Institute from 2005-2020. Besides, she is actively engaged in space technology and policy community. Moreover, Lal has been nominated for corresponding membership of International Academy of Astronautics.
