National Press Day 2020: Home Minister Amit Shah Extends His Greetings

On the occasion of National Press Day on November 16, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to Twitter to extend his greetings. Shah tweeted, "Our media fraternity is working tirelessly towards strengthening the foundations of our great nation." Lauding media's role during the pandemic, Shah asserted that Modi government was committed towards the "freedom of Press". He also said the government would counter all efforts that try to stifle the media.
