Tamil Nadu CM Meets Sri Lankan Ambassador, Expresses Concern About Fishermen Issues
Sri Lanka's High Commissioner to India, Milinda Moragoda, on June 4, convened with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in Chennai to address the connection between Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu, including the fishermen's troubles. Stalin expressed concern about the crisis in Sri Lanka and announced the first consignment of necessary items will be dispatched instantly. They also discussed Tamil Nadu's and Sri Lanka's long-standing ethnic, cultural, and religious relations.
