Telangana Man Likely To Be Monkeypox Positive, Sample Sent To NIV
In Telangana, a suspected case of monkeypox has been reported, on July 25. The State Health Department collected the sample of the suspect, a 40-year-old Kuwait returnee to Kamareddy who showed symptoms of monkeypox. His samples has been collected and sent it to NIV lab in Pune, Maharashtra, for testing. Furthermore, six people who came in contact with the suspect have been kept in isolation and are under observation.
