Thailand: Protestors Demand Cuts in Royal Families' Budget and PM to Resign
Protestors in Thailand marched to King Vajiralongkorn’s palace asking for a cut in the Royal Family's budget. Calling it a primary victory, they handed a letter to the police commissioner amidst huge force deployment. Students leading the movement also called for strike on October 14 and withdrawal of deposits from the bank, in which King has major stakes. Their demands included the parliament's dissolution and resignation of PM Prayuth Chan-ocha.
