US Lawmakers Pass Resolution To Impeach President Donald Trump
The US lawmakers on January 13 has adopted a resolution to impeach President Donald Trump. The US House of Representatives voted 223-205 to initiate the process, overturning Vice-President Mike Pence's rejection to invoke the 25th amendment meant for impeachment of the POTUS. The development came following the Capitol Hill seizure, wherein a pro-Trump mob stormed the building violently. If the process gains success, Trump will be the first American president to be impeached twice.
