YouTube Blocks Donald Trump's Channel From Posting New Content
In a series of actions following the US Capitol riots, the official YouTube channel of Donald Trump has been restrained by Google from posting any new content. The Google-owned video-sharing platform has also indefinitely disabled comment section of the existing videos, citing a "potential threat for violence". Earlier, launching a #StopHateforProfit campaign, civil rights groups in the US had asked YouTube to take down Trump's channel to avoid being boycotted by the people.
