Army Displays India's First Native Machine Pistol 'ASMI'
India’s first native machine pistol ASMI was displayed at the Indian Army’s innovation exhibition on January 13. The indigenously developed gun has been built in collaboration between the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Army. Compared to the Israeli Uzi guns, ASMI can fire at a range of 100 metres. ASMI would be likely inducted to replace the 9mm pistols employed in the defence forces.

10 Australian Special Forces Soldiers To Be Dismissed For Illegal Killings

India, China Deliberate On Implementation Of Five Point Agenda
Diplomats of India and China on September 30 held another round of talks, wherein they focused on implementing the five-point agenda reached between both the countries. During the virtual meeting, both the parties reviewed the current border situation. The Ministry of External Affairs' statement read that the two sides agreed upon holding the next meeting "at an early date" to complete the "process of disengagement" sooner.

J&K: Centre Withdraws Over 10,000 Troops Post Abrogation of Article 370
According to a report by the Press Trust of India, the Centre has asked for an "immediate" withdrawal of 100 CAPF companies that were positioned in J&K after the removal of Article 370. These troops were asked to revert back to their base locations in the country. The forces that will be leaving J&K include the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force, Border Security Force and others.
