Customs Agents Detain Man, Seize Air Weapons Worth Rs 20 Lakhs At Lucknow Airport
Customs officials apprehended a traveler who had come in from Dubai and confiscated air guns, telescopic sights, and weapons accessories worth Rs. 20,54,000 on July 19 at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. The person attempted to proceed via the green channel without making any declarations to Customs but was stopped due to database analysis. Additional investigations are being performed.

Nupur Sharma Gets Interim Relief From Arrest In Prophet Remark, SC
Nupur Sharma has been granted interim protection from arrests in the Mohammed Prophet remark case, registered in various cities in India. On July 19, the Supreme Court reviewed her petition, seeking a stay on arrest and directed police for no coercive action to be initiated against her in the FIRs, registered over the controversial remark. Furthermore, the Apex Court also adjourned the matter to August 10.

Kerala Police To Arrest Friskers Who Forced Females To Remove Undergarments For NEET-UG Exam
The Kerala Police registered a case in connection with an alleged incident, where young women and girls who appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) were asked to remove undergarments for giving the exam. Happened in the Kollam district, the police assured to arrest frisker, who forced women candidates to remove garments and registered a case under the IPC, Sections 354 and 509 and other sections.

SC To Examine Plea Of Suspended BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma Seeking Protection From Arrest
Supreme Court will hear the appeal of suspended BJP spokeswoman Nupur Sharma on July 19. She has petitioned for protection from arrest and reinstatement of her previously withdrawn appeal seeking the clubbing of FIRs filed in many states in response to her statements on Prophet Muhammed. Assam Guy Detained For Disguising As Shiva To Mount Protest Against Rising Prices
Man detained after disguising as Lord Shiva and woman as goddess Parvati who protested against rising prices of fuel, food, and other commodities in Assam on July 9 sparking controversy. It was condemned by Nagaon district units of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, who claimed that Hindu Sanatan Dharma Dharma values were offended.
