The Madhya Pradesh police, which arrested the accused in the shocking Ujjain Rape Case, said they took an extraordinary effort to crack the case. They interrogated hundreds of people and scanned footage from over 700 CCTV cameras before they found links to the main accused Bharat Soni--an auto driver who allegedly picked up the 15-year-old survivor from the Ujjain railway station, raped her, and left her half-naked and bleeding.
A video has surfaced on the internet showing an abduction attempt carried out by a group of men in UP's Bhadohi. The incident reportedly took place near the Pashchimi Trimuhani of Modh Chowki area in the city on Saturday early morning. The attempt of abduction was captured in a CCTV camera installed near the scene of the incident. However, the attempt failed and case is registered to nab the accused.

The cause behind the tragedy was an ongoing dispute over a shop in Sardaha market, situated within the jurisdiction of the Maharajganj police station.
Delhi Police booked two unidentified youths who allegedly brandished a gun while threatening a man during a quarrel after their motorcycle collided with his parked car in Bhajanpura in northeast Delhi. Happened on September 18, the incident was captured on a purported CCTV, which appeared on social media and showed that the motorcycle rider lost control of the vehicle which rammed into the stationary car.

Delhi is becoming a place of crimes as another horrendous attempt to murder unfolded in the Nand Nagri region. In a CCTV footage, which went viral, a man was brutally attacked with a knife, whereas people passing by did nothing to save him. According to the initial investigation, the victim was identified as Qasim and was rushed to AIIMS after the attack and is said to be out of danger.
After days, Sikh preacher and Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh has been spotted in CCTV footage in Delhi, confirmed sources. Amritpal Singh is seen without his turban in the footage, in an apparent attempt at disguise to evade the police, who is searching for Khalistani leader. He wore sunglasses and a denim jacket. India's Himalayan neighbour Nepal has already put Amritpal Singh on its surveillance list.
A newly surfaced CCTV video has sparked multiple claims about a recent custodial death in Chennai. The authenticity of the video cannot be verified at the moment. The clip, which is almost a minute and a half long, shows the 25-year-old man - Vignesh - running as two cops chase after him. The cops, however, claim that he had a knife on, and that he had attacked them.
A man was murdered viciously by around eight people in Delhi's Sangam Vihar this Sunday. In a shocking incident, a leopard was spotted in CCTV footage in Lucknow's Gudumba area, on December 25 at around 4:12 am. The CCTV footage was installed at a private hospital in which the feline was seen staying at the location for eight minutes. ''After this, the leopard was seen moving in the bylanes,'' said Aniket Ani, the hospital owner. However, the forest department has launched a search operation.
