President Murmu Visits Katra Vaishno Devi, Will Inaugurate Skywalk
President of India Droupadi Murmu visited Jammu and Kashmir's Katra, and offered prayer at Vaishno Devi Temple. According to sources, Murmu arrived at the Katra temple on October 12, and was accompanied by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Later, after the holy darshan, Murmu inagurated the remodelled skywalk. The The 200-metre skywalk will make the journey of pilgrims smooth as it will separate the path taken by them to the Bhawan.

Women's Reservation Bill Gets Approval Of President Murmu, Becomes Law
President of India Droupadi Murmu gave assent to the Women's Reservation Bill, which has now become a law. Tabled by the BJP-led Central Government, the Women's Reservation Bill was approved by the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha recently. After passing with a majority of 450 votes, the bill, ensuring 33% reservation for tirbals, SC/ST and OBC women in politics, was sent to the President of India for her approval.

India To Be Renamed As Bharat, GoI To Pass Resolution In Parliament
The Government of India is likely to introduce a resolution, renaming India as Bharat. The decision came after the official invite to the G20 Heads of State and ministers for a dinner being hosted by President by Droupadi Murmu with the heading President of Bharat. The BJP-led Central Government will hold a special session, to pass a resolution for India to rename as Bharat, to avoid I.N.D.I.A. alliance confusion.

President Droupadi Murmu Approves Presidential Awards To Indian Coast Guard
President Droupadi Murmu on Monday approved one President's Tatrakshak Medal (PTM) and five Tatrakshak Medals (TM) to the Indian Coast Guard personnel on the eve of Independence Day. According to a statement by the ministry of defense, the awards were given to recongnise their “act of conspicuous gallantry, exceptional devotion to duty and distinguished or meritorious service.” Besides, the President of India approved 76 Gallentry award.

Droupadi Murmu Calls Out Tribals To Embrace Modernity
President Droupadi Murmu on August 14 hailed India's GDP growth despite challenges and said a large number of people have come out of poverty in the last decade. Addressing the nation on the eve of the 77th Independence Day, President Murmu lauded India's space agency ISRO for scaling new heights and setting higher benchmarks of excellence. The nation is all set to celebrate the 76th Independence Day.

Delhi Services Bill Gets Approval Of President Droupadi Murmu
The Delhi Services Act became a law after President Droupadi Murmu gave her approval. Notably, Union Home Minister Amit Shah tabled The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, in Lok Sabha on August 1. The bill is meant to replace the contentious Ordinance on the control of services in the national capital. The bill was passed by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Opposition INDIA Submits Memorandum To President: Manipur Assault
Opposition bloc INDIA submitted a memorandum to President Droupadi Murmu over their demand for PM Narendra Modi's statement in Parliament on the Manipur issue. They also demanded that the prime minister visit the strife-torn state to restore peace. In the memorandum submitted to the President, 31 leaders of the opposition bloc also raised the issue of communal tension in Haryana's Nuh and alleged the Central government's negligence.
