Sheikh Mohammed Inaugurates 'Museum Of The Future': Dubai
Dubai has opened the Museum of the Future, which is being called "the most beautiful building in the world". Reportedly, the museum will take visitors to the future, as far as the year 2071, and has been designed by 'Killa Design'. "The Museum of the Future is a living museum," said Mohammed Al Gergawi, DFF, Chairman. The seven-storey museum was inaugurated by PM Sheikh Mohammed and can accommodate 1000 people.

Dubai Welcomes 7.28 Million Travelers In 2021, Witnesses 32% Growth
Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism on February 5, said, Dubai had welcomed 7.28 million international overnight visitors which is 32% year-on-year growth in 2021. Around 910,000 travelers visited from India. In the fourth quarter of 2021, Dubai surpassed 3.4 million visitors. Sonu Nigam And Family Test Positive For Covid-19
Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam on January 4, announced to be tested positive for Covid-19. In an Instagram post, he said, he along with his wife, son, and sister-in-law are COVID-19 positive and are currently in Dubai under quarantine. The Instagram post read, "I tested COVID positive. Maradona's Hublot Watch Stolen In Dubai; Seized In Assam
Assam Police on December 11 held a man from Assam, Wazid Hussain who worked as a security guard in a private company in Dubai. A limited-edition Hublot watch, bearing the signature and jersey number of late footballer Diego Maradona, was stolen by Wazid. However, the process of stealing the watch was not shared, while there remains a chance to send him back to Dubai to face necessary consequences.

UAE Changes Workweek To Mon-Fri From Sun-Thurs
The United Arab Emirates made a major change in its system by declaring its workweek from Monday to Friday, making it one of the few places in the middle east to follow Western hours. It'll come into effect from January 1, 2022. The country currently has a Sunday to Thursday working week. Besides, the government employees will work half-day on Friday, a traditional Muslim holy day in Islam.
