Netizens take a dig at the government officials and criticized the banking, as the woman in her late 70s struggle for pension. After the viral video, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reacted and said, "Starting in the following month, the pension will be delivered to her door."

Union Govt Raised Tax Demand Of Rs 14,820 Crore Under Black Money Law
The Union Finance Minister said the Ministry has raised a tax demand of Rs 14,820 crore under the black money law dealing with undisclosed foreign income. On July 25, FM Nirmala Sitharaman in a written reply to Lok Sabha said, after completing an assessment in 368 cases related to deposits made in unreported foreign bank accounts in HSBC, undisclosed income has been brought to tax and penalty.

Assam Budget Session For 2022-2023 To Begin From March 14
The 2022-2023 Assam Budget Session is to begin from March 14 and will continue till April 1. Finance Minister Ajanta Neog will present the budget in the Legislative Assembly on March 16, said Heman Das, Principal Secretary. "We have 11 working days during the session. Six bills will be tabled in the assembly," Das said. Furthermore, the first day of Budget session will begin with the Assam Governor's speech.

FM Sitharaman To Launch e-Bill Aiming Enhanced Business Ecosystem

The Minister had announced digital bill during the 2022-2023 budget, which will be a part of the 46th Civil Accounts Day organised by Dr Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi.
