Nine-Year Old Girl Raped In Bijnor, Case Registered
In Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district, a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped, confirmed the police on May 2. As per PTI, the girl was allegedly raped by her 18-year-old uncle who works as a laborer at a brick kiln. Notably, the incident happened at Shivalakala Kalan, when the girl was alone at her home. Meanwhile, a case has been registered under IPC and POCSO, and an investigation is underway.

Minor Boy Assaulted For Stealing Wheat Grains Allegations, Case Registered: MP
In Madhya Pradesh's Guna district, a minor boy was allegedly beaten for allegations of stealing wheat grains, confirmed police on April 25. The incident came to light after a video surfaced on social media. The Madhusudangarh Police in charge Anup Bhargava registered a case against Shivraj Bhil and five unidentified persons under section 323, 324, and 342 of the IPC. The investigation into the matter is underway.

16-Year-Old Raped In Rajasthan's Alwar District; 4 Arrested Including 1 Minor
In Rajasthan's Alwar district, a minor girl (16) was allegedly raped, confirmed police on April 21. As per PTI, the incident happened on April 19, near the victim's house. The SHO registered a case based on the complaint filed by the victim's father and arrested the four accused, including one minor who has been booked under the relevant sections of IPC, and an investigation is underway.

Sonam Kapoor's Nurse Arrested For Stealing Rs 2.4 Cr From Delhi Residence
Aparna Ruth Wilson, a nurse who worked as a home medical care assistant at Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor's residence, has been arrested for allegedly stealing cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.4 crore from the actor's residence. Along with Wilson, her husband Naresh Kumar Sagar, who works as an accountant at a private firm, has also been arrested. Reportedly, the theft took place on February 11.

Drunk Passengers Arrested For Misbehaving With IndiGo Air Hostess
Three passengers were arrested for misbehaving with the air hostess of a Hyderabad to Lucknow Indigo flight, on April 9. The cabin crew (air hostess) registered a complaint against the passengers and accused them to be drunk and allegedly misbehaving with her on the flight. Notably, after landing in Lucknow, the CSIF took the accused to Sarojini Nagar police and booked them under relevant IPC sections.

Mumbai Police Sends Notice To BJP Leader In Bank Fraud Case
In charges of bank fraud, the Mumbai police have issued notice to the BJP leader Pravin Darekar, asking him to appear for questioning on April 4. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Dhananjay Shinde filed a case against Darekar, alleging him of forging certain documents to become a member of the Pratigya Labour Cooperative Society. As of now, Darekar who is booked for conspiracy and cheating has protection from arrest.

Maulvi Arrested For Assaulting 8-Year-Old: Maharashtra
In Palghar, Maharashtra, a Maulvi was arrested for allegedly abducting a minor, and sexually assaulting her. On March 27, the accused offered chocolate to the 8-year-old and allegedly abused her. Prostitution Racket Busted In Delhi; Broker, Girl Arrested On Spot
Delhi police busted a high-level prostituition racket, arresting the accused broker and few others. After receiving Intel from a secret informant, Delhi police used a decoy to arrest the accused red-handed. Naveen, main accused in the case, was caught while he dropped the girl at Hotel Holiday Inn.
