Karnataka Signs MoU With ReNew Energy, Brings Investment Worth Rs 50,000 Cr

At World Economic Forum in Davos, the Karnataka Government signed an MoU with ReNew Power, a leading renewable energy company. As per the inked MoU, the company will invest Rs 50,000 crore in the Karnataka Renewable energy sector in the next seven years. Signed in the presence of CM Bommai Basavaraj, the new proposal will bring green hydrogen, battery storage, and renewable energy units set up in Karnataka in phases.

SC Announce Judgement In Loud Speakers Row, Asks To Obey Orders

In Gayathri Peetha Mutt's organized program, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai announced to obey SC orders in Loudspeaker Row. Notably, on May 10, the Supreme Court issued an order on the use of loudspeakers in public places, asking governments to obey it.  In regard to this, CM Bommai said action will be taken to implement it in a cordial manner. Everybody should obey the order, all the issues will be resolved.

Youth Dies Due To Electrocution, CM Bommai Assures Action: Karnataka

According to the Sanjaynagar Police station, a person died due to an electric shock by a broken electric wire in the park near Sanjaynagar on April 26. After having a virtual meeting with PM Narendra Modi Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said actions will be taken against the official responsible for the mishap. CM also assured that compensation would be given to the kin of youth who died due to electrocution.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Park To Be Set Up In Bengaluru, Says CM Bommai

The Karnataka state government on March 4, proposed to set up a 350 acre park to increase the area of greenery in the state. This was announced during the discussion of 2022-23 state budget in the legislative assembly.
