About sixteen missing mariners including three Indian nationals have been rescued from the international waters near Malaysia, on August 26. The swift rescue operation was carried out successfully by the Indian coast guard. Indian Women's Volleyball Team Defeats Malaysia In 2022 Princess Cup
The Indian senior women's volleyball team won against Malaysia with 3-0 scorecard, on June 26. The team was in its preliminary third league match of the 21st Princess Cup in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, which has a scorecard, 25-17 25-16 25-22. The Princess Cup started on June 24 and is scheduled till June 30. Achyuta Samanta, President of the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI), congratulated the team on its victory.

Malaysia Reports 6,517 New COVID-19 Cases, 41 Deaths
Malaysia reported 6,517 new Coronavirus cases with 41 deaths in the last 24 hours. According to reports, sixteen COVID-19 cases are imported with 6,501 being locally transmitted said the ministry of Malaysia, with the total number of cases recorded to be 2,535,338 in the country. Active cases are reported to be 64,277, among which 543 have been admitted to the ICU, and 268 are in need of ventilators.
