Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin who was admitted to hospital after he contracted COVID-19, has been discharged. Following his discharge, he arrived at the secretariat complex at around 10 am, and was the first to cast his vote in the complex. The presidential polls to elect the 15th president of India began on July 18, and votes counting of votes is scheduled to take place on July 21.

Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Admitted To Hospital For Covid-19 Related Symptoms

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has been admitted to the hospital for investigations and observation amid covid-related symptoms, on July 14. Stalin, who tested positive for Covid-19, on July 12, was under home isolation, but suffered mild symptoms, and was shifted to the hospital. Meanwhile, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) workers wished him a speedy recovery. Besides DMK, TN Governor RN Ravi also extended recovery wishes to Stalin.

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin initiated works to provide high speed internet connectivity to all the 12,535 village panchayats in the state. On June 9, he inaugurated the laying of optical fibre cables. Reportedly, the project is worth Rs 1,627.8 crore, and will be implemented by Tamil Nadu Fibrenet Corporation (TANFINET). The project aims at providing 1 Gbps bandwidth connectivity to the village panchayats.

11 Dead & 15 Injured In Thanjavur Electrocution Incident; CM Stalin Announces Ex Gratia

In a tragic incident, 11 people lost their lives and 15 others were injured in the Thanjavur electrocution incident. Reportedly, a high tension wire came in contact with a car, which caused a fire.
