Mumbai Man Murders Teen For Harassing His Wife

A man allegedly killed his brother-in-law with a crowbar and chopped his body into several pieces for harassing his wife. The accused, Shafiq Ahmed Shaikh, alleged that 17-year-old Ishwar Putran, who was raised by Shaikh's wife's father, harassed his wife. 57 Year Old Falls For Gift Card Fraud, Loses Rs 50,000

A 57-year-old man who works as deputy general manager in a private company at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) recently fell prey to the gift card fraud. The victim had received a WhatsApp communication from a person impersonating as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the victim's company.  The victim sent 10 codes worth ₹5000 each and later learnt that he had been duped by an imposter.

Mumbai Man Loses Rs 1.30 Lakhs In Cyber Fraud

A case of cyber fraud has come to light where a man lost ₹1.30 lakhs without sharing any OTP or clicking on any suspicious links. According to the FIR, Sabirali Ansari (47) a resident of Borivali West, is a sand cement shop keeper. He has two savings bank accounts. He had linked his Union Bank savings account with Google pay and Paytm for online transactions.

Mumbai: Man Dials Mantralaya, Threatened Terrorist Attack

A threat call was received in the control room of the Mantralay on Monday night, August 7.  The caller threatened that a terrorist attack is going to happen in the next two days. The police tracked and arrested the caller. The name of the caller is Prakash Kishanchand Khemani (61.) In the past one month, this is the second such threat call received by the police. An investigation is underway.

Shocking! Mumbai Man Arrested For Molesting Woman In Local Train

An unfortunate incident reported at Mumbai railway station. On August 7, a man identified as Manoj Chowdhary (32) was apprehended by the police for allegedly attempting murder and molesting a woman in the ladies' compartment. The distressing incident occurred on August 6 at 4 pm when the victim embarked on her journey from Pune to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai, aboard the Udyan Express. Man Arrested For Changing DoB Of Minor To Marry: Mumbai

A youth has been arrested for allegedly marrying his minor girlfriend after getting her date of birth on her Aadhaar Card changed to show she is an adult, confirmed a Mumbai Police official. The case was filed by the minor's father. As per the complaint filed at Dahisar police station, she was born on May 7, 2006 but the accused got it changed to March 12, 2004 on Aadhaar Card.
