4 Tamil Nadu Fishers' Bodies Found At Sri Lankan Beach
The bodies of four Tamil Nadu fishermen that went missing on January 18 were discovered at a Sri Lankan beach on January 21. While the Indian High Commission in Colombo was informed about the bodies, cause of death is still unclear. However, another group of fisherman has alleged that the fishermen were attacked by the Sri Lankan Navy. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu CM E Palaniswami has demanded the Centre to instigate a probe in the matter.

Sri Lanka: Villagers Break Curfew To Rescue Stranded Whales On Colombo Beach
Villagers near Colombo’s Panadura beach in Sri Lanka broke COVID-19 curfew to rescue around 100 whales that had beached. The locals pushed the small whales back to sea. Indian Fishermen Attacked By Sri Lankan Navy Personnel
Tamil Nadu fishermen were recently attacked by the Sri Lankan Navy personnel for allegedly venturing into the latter's waters. The Rameshwaram-based fishermen suffered injuries after the navy personnel attacked them with glass bottles and stones. Australian Navy Divers Tow Off Unexploded 45 Kg Bomb
The divers of the Australian Navy have towed off an unexploded bomb to deeper waters. The 45 kilogram bomb was found by a fisherman in April at Elizabeth Reef near Lord Howe Island. Reportedly, the Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) was carefully removed and towed off by a ship into 550-metre-deep waters. However, due to the deterioration of the device, the origin of the bomb could not be found.
