Crime Rate Against Women In Delhi Takes A 25% Dip: NCRB

According to data released by the National Crime Records Bureau, there is a decline in the cases of kidnapping, abduction, or attempt to rape in the year 2020 as compared to 2019 numbers. The change may be due to the Covid-19 Lockdown and other restrictions. Delhi police reported the tally of cases as 2,938 filed under kidnapping, murder, rape, and around 1,840 cases of assault.

Cases Registered Under Domestic Violence Act Drop By 4.5%: NCRB

The National Crime Records Bureau data has revealed that cases registered under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 declined in 2019.
