According to reports, Rahul Gandhi in a tweet wished for Modi Government to be sensitive towards Indian citizens due to an increased inflation during the time of Diwali. He made the statement in concern with the extreme hike in petrol and diesel prices for the seventh time in a row. His tweet read, "It's Diwali. Inflation is at its peak. It's not a joke."

PM Modi To Address Nation Following 100 Cr Vaccination
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on October 22 at 10 am. India achieved the target of 100 crore vaccinations in the nation on October 21. It was reported that leaders from across the globe congratulated India on the same. Covid-19: Third Wave To Hit In September, May Peak In October In India
National Insitute of Disaster Management (NIDM) under the Home Ministry in its new report to PMO warned against the third wave of COVID-19 saying it would reach its peak around October. It also recommends the government ramp up paediatric facilities as the virus may infect children in large numbers. However, AIIMS requested everyone to constantly follow COVID-19 protocols to avoid any possible outbreak of the virus.

Tik Tok Approaches PMO, IT Ministry For Re-Launch In India
As PUBG made a comeback in India, TikTok is also in talks with the Indian government for the re-launch of their application in India. TikTok’s parent company ByteDance has approached IT Ministry & PMO officials, and has assured to comply with the new IT rules required for Social Media Platforms. Last year in July, government banned over 250 apps including TikTok due to the user privacy and national security reasons.

PMO Provides 150 Ventilators From PM Cares To Sardar Patel COVID Center
The Prime Minister’s Office has written to the Union Health Ministry to allot 150 ventilators bought with the help of PM Cares fund to Delhi-based Sardar Patel COVID Care Center. Equipped with GPS devices the machines will be provided on six months loan to the COVID facility jointly run by the ITBP and Delhi government. The PMO also requested for speedy installation of the machines at the 500-oxygen bed facility.

Govt Allocates Funds To Create 551 Oxygen Plants Through PM Cares
The Centre on April 25 allocated funds from PM Cares Fund to establish 551 Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Medical Oxygen Generation plants in country. To be installed at identified district-level government hospitals across the country, PM Narendra Modi has directed the officials to establish the plants at earliest to overcome the oxygen crisis. The PM cares had earlier this year allocated Rs 201.58 crore to install 162 oxygen plants.

Truck Loses Control, Crushes 15 Migrant Labourers To Death In Surat
