Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal and Sanjeev Aurora took oath as the newly elected members of Rajya Sabha, on May 2. The AAP leaders thanked party chief Arvind Kejriwal for the opportunity, soon after taking oath. The leaders also assured to "raise the voice of a common man". Raghav Chadha told ANI, "I walk on the right path and fullfill the aspirations of the people of Punjab". 

Bhagwant Mann, the 'CM Candidate' of the Aam Aadmi Party, will contest the Punjab Assembly election from Dhuri constituency.  Addressing the media, AAP senior leader Raghav Chadha announced the same.  Reportedly, Bhagwant Mann is a two time Lok Sabha member and CM candidate as per public's choice. Notably, the Dhuri Assembly constituency in Sangrur district is currently represented by Congress MLA Dalvir Singh Goldy.

"The BJP was obliged to change Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand and Gujarat due to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) challenge," said Raghav Chadha, National spokesperson of AAP on Sept 12. "Ineffective, compromised, and unsuccessful opposition" is causing both parties to play "musical chair" in two states, Chadha added. He reiterated that Uttarakhand and Gujarat have no strong opposition due to an accord between these parties.
