Recovery rate

In the last 24 hours, 15,786 new Covid-19 cases were registered in India, which is 14% lower than the previous day's 18,454 cases. The recovery rate stands at 98.16% with 18,641 new recoveries in the past 24 hours. However, around 231 new deaths were also reported in the country. The active caseload reached the lowest in 232 days at 1,75,745. Besides, India has also completed 100 crore vaccine administration.

India registered a fresh 36,751 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the data released by the Union Health Ministry. The country's total count now stands at 3,23,58,829. With 540 deaths, the total death count has risen to 4,33,589 along with 3,63,605 active cases. However, the recovery rate remains at 97.54% with 36,571 recoveries, the highest since March 2020.

Arunachal Pradesh was declared a Coronavirus-free state on February 28, as the active case count dropped to zero. With the latter three active cases currently recovering, Arunachal Pradesh's recovery rate and positivity rate are at 99.66% and 0%.
