Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut Slams BJP Govt Over Recent Killings By Terrorists In Kashmir
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut took a dig at BJP over the recent incidents of killings in Kashmir by terrorists. He said that BJP fetched votes in the name of 'Hindutva', but did nothing to improve people's lives in the valley. He further said that the same situation that prevailed in the 1990s, has returned. Earlier, BSP chief Mayawati urged centre to take action against the recent killings.

Defamation Case Of Rs 100 Cr Filed Against Sanjay Raut: Maharashtra
BJP leader Kiriti Somaiyas's wife Medha Somaiyas filed a Rs 100 crore defamation case against Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Filed with the Bombay High Court on May 23, the petition was against the Rs 100-crore toilet construction scam allegations leveled against the BJP leader, without evidence. Somaiyas addressed the media and shared that Raut falsely accused her husband to tarnish their image and demanded the money for social work.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut called PM Narendra Modi as "Adolf Hitler". On May 9, Raut addressed an event and said, "Hitler used to do a lot of events that's what Modi does. In fact, Modi follows Hitler. Look at social media. The way Hitler used to do events, Modi and his party do it similarly...I am not criticizing him (Modi) though". Sanjay Raut's Phone Tapped On Anti-Social Elements Suspicion: Mumbai Police
Mumbai Police tapped the phones of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and NCP leader Eknath Khadse in 2019, on the information by SID of them being anti-social elements, said Mumbai police on April 19. Notably, Raut & Khadse's phones were tapped for 60 and 67 days, respectively. Reacting to this, Sanjay Raut claimed it to be a bogus agenda of the BJP to frame him and other leaders falsely.

ED Attaches Assets Of Varsha Raut, Pravin, Swapna In Money Laundering Case
Assets worth Rs 11.15 crore owned by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut's wife Varsha Raut, businessman Pravin Raut and Swapna Patkar, have been attached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in an ongoing money laundering case. According to a statement by ED, Pravin Raut's lands, Varsha Raut's flat, and Swapna Patkar's plots were seized. Pravin was arrested on February 4, after he 'diverted' Rs 100 crore to accounts of family members.

Delhi Police Registers FIR Against Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut was booked for making derogatory comments against female BJP leaders. Reportedly, an FIR was filed against Raut in Delhi for his "offensive remark" during a TV interview. "An FIR has been registered at Delhi's Mandawali police station under sections 509 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). It was registered on December 12," said the Mandawali police official.
