Viral 'Joyride' Video Leaves 3 Cops Suspended: Gujrat

Three police constables were suspended in Kutch Gujrat, as the video of them enjoying their car-ride, dancing, and singing has gone viral on social media. Reports said concerned SP Mayur Patil took against the said policemen, and called it "indecent behaviour". These cops offended the traffic rules, and were without masks, sources said. Notably, the video was taken by one of policemen apparently, however date of the journey wasn't known.

Suspension Of MP Police Constable With Long Moustache Revoked

A Police constable in Madhya Pardesh who was suspended after he refused to trim his long moustache, has been reinstated. As per an order issued by Deputy Inspector General, the suspension order was revoked with immediate effect. Constable Rakesh Raina worked as a driver in the state's police department, and was posted as the driver of Special Director General, Cooperatives Fraud and Public section of Madhya Pardesh.

Jammu-Srinagar Highway & Other Roads Closes Amid Landslide, Mudslide

Following landslides, mudslides and shooting stones at some places, 270-km Jammu-Srinagar highway, which connects Kashmir with the outside world, remained closed, said officials on January 6. The 'efforts to restore the traffic' are underway, as authorities were clearing snow accumulations. Other roads include, Mughal road, Srinagar-Leh highway, & Sinthan road also remained closed due to snow accumulation.

OxygenOS 12 Update Suspended For OnePlus 9, 9 Pro Due To Bugs

In the latest development, OnePlus suspended the OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Reportedly, the company took the decision after many users complained of not getting the promised features in the new update. It promised to resume the update soon after fixing the bugs without specifying any date. Notably, OnePlus is the third company to offer an Android 12-based update, following Google and Samsung.

Police Inspector Suspended For Not Taking Appropriate Action: Mumbai

Owing to the bribery case, Vijay Belge, a senior inspector at Mumbai's Andheri police station has been suspended. Reportedly, Belge has been accused of not taking any actions against a dance bar operating under his jurisdiction. However, a senior police official said, "last month there was a raid on a dance bar following which an inquiry was initiated against him. After the inquiry, he was suspended on September 29.”

British PM Johnson Unhappy With Cricketer Ollie Robinson's Suspension

British PM Boris Johnson on June 7 condemned England and Wales Cricket Board's decision of suspending pacer Ollie Robinson for his alleged historical racist and sexist comments. Johnson's spokesperson said, "These were comments made more than a decade ago written by someone as a teenager and for which they have rightly apologised." Earlier, on June 6, Robinson was banned from all formats of international cricket.

England's Ollie Robinson Faces International Cricket Ban Over Racism

The England Cricket Board on June 6 announced the permanent suspension of Ollie Robinson from all formats of Internatioinal cricket for his alleged "racist and sexist" tweets. However, the cricketer had issued an apology when the controversy emerged right on the day of his test debut on June 2. Karnataka To Suspend Driving Licenses If Riders Caught Without Helmet

Karnataka government has ordered to suspend the driving licenses for up to three months if the riders are caught without helmet. It also made it mandatory for children above 4-year-old to wear helmets. Reportedly, the suspension comes in addition to a fine of Rs 500. The government stated that the "new rule" will come to effect immediately throughout the state.
