Amid the buzz about who'll lead as Team India coach in the T20 after Ravi Shastri's final endeavor as the coach, which will commence from October 17, media reports suggested batting-legend Rahul Dravid would replace him. Indian Cricketer Parthiv Patel on December 9 announced about his retirement from cricket, ending an 18-year professional cricket career. The 35-year-old played 25 Tests, 38 ODIs, and two T20s for India. The last international appearance of Patel was in a test match played against the South Africa at Johannesburg in January 2018. One of the youngest debutant in Indian cricket after Sachin Tendulkar, Piyush Chawla and L Sivaramakrishnan.
