Finland Prime Minister Sanna Marin on October 7 decided to hand over her duty and power to a 16-year-old teenager, Aava Murto, for one day. The PM did it as part of the 'Girl's Takeover' campaign. Reportedly, Aava Murto, from Vaasky, is an activist for climate change and human rights issues. After her role of 'Prime Minister for a day', she told reporters that it was an "exciting day".

A teenager was allegedly kidnapped from a police station in Uttar Pradesh's Etah district, after being rescued and raped for several days by a group of men. The girl had actually gone missing from August 14. The girl's family alleged that the girl has been kidnaped by Luv Kush, whose proposal for marriage had come and was refused. "The girl has been rescued and a case has been registered against 12 people," said SP Rahul Kumar.

The people of Kerala held protests over the alleged rape of the COVID-19 positive teen on September 5, by an ambulance driver who already has a criminal record. The opposition, demanded the resignation from the state Health Minister K.K Shylaja, and blamed her for the crime. "The State did not care for the security of women and children and exposed them to crime wilfully," BJP state president added.

On September 3, police informed that a 15-year-old was allegedly raped by three men and was beaten up with an iron rod in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly. According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Kumar Pandey, the accused took the teen to a secluded place where the alleged crime took place and one of the accused recorded a video and threatened to post it on social media.
