Arvind Kejriwal Pledges to Improve Water Supply in Delhi
Arvind Kejriwal, on September 26, said that government intends to improve water supply in Delhi to match upto the levels of developed countries. Addressing the press, he clarified that the government had no intentions to privatise water supply but has plans to hire consultants to improve water supply management. He promised to make water available throughout the day at sufficient pressure and also give accountability for each drop.

Jammu and Kashmir: Every House to Get Water Pipelines by December 2021
The officials from Public Health Engineering Department have started working, under the 'Jal Jeevan Mission', to ensure water supply to every house in J&K. Reportedly, under the mission, Rs 6000 crore has been allotted to Jammu and Rs.4,000 crore to Kashmir. Few areas in Srinagar and Budgam districts have already been covered under the scheme and the department aims to achieve 100% coverage by December 2021.
