Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured financial assistance and other relief measures to flood-hit victims in the Godavari region. After reviewing the flood situation, CM Jagan promised that his government would provide full aid to the people who suffered damage due to the massive flood in the river Godavari. Furthermore, his government also provided 25 kg of rice, food grains and Rs 2,000 each to victims of the flood.
 

In Andhra Pradesh, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party organised plenary meeting, to elect the president. The two-days event, on July 8-9, will be held in a grand manner, in which YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the AP CM will get a lifetime position as the YSRCP President. Scheduled on the 72nd birth anniversary of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, this will be the third plenary meeting of the YSRCP, since 2009.

Andhra Pradesh Government signs a MoU with the Ed-tech company Byju's, aiming enhanced digital education for students in state-run schools. Andhra Pradesh Government has scheduled the first cabinet meeting after the recent Cabinet reshuffle, on May 12. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will chair the meeting, which has been preponed and is at 3 pm, with the newly inducted and reshuffled ministers. They will hold discussions about the growth of AP. The major discussions will be regarding the land encroachments and development of the agriculture and education sector in AP.

The newly elected Andhra Pradesh Cabinet took the oath of office, on April 11, at an event in Amaravati, AP. The State Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan administered the oath of office to the 25 MLAs, elected for the Cabinet ministry. Notably, the oath-taking ceremony came days after 24 YSRCP leaders submitted their resignation to the CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Notably, the previous Cabinet expired on December 8, 2021.
