50% Kids Faced Stress During COVID; Low Income Homes Worst: Study
A recent study has revealed that approximately 50% of children suffered stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A joint study by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and NGO ‘Child Rights and You’ claimed that while no age and gender difference was recorded for stress, it was relatively higher in families with low income. Surveying over 800 children of the age group nine to 17 years, the study interpolated that 41.9% of children felt worried and 45.2% got bored.
