8 ITBP Women Troops Inducted To Train, Handle, Deploy Malinois Dogs
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has inducted eight women personnel to train, deploy and handle Malinois dogs. These dogs are specialised in protecting civilians and assisting in anti-naxal operations. Around eight three-year-old pups will now undergo various tactical training programmes with their respective women handlers. Notably, the ITBP's 90,000 personnel guard the 3,488 km-long Indo-China border.
