Air Conditioners Explode at Mosque in Bangladesh; 17 Dead, Over 20 Critical
On September 4, 17 people were killed after six Air Conditioners (AC) exploded during a Friday prayer at a mosque in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The blast left 20 people injured and in critical conditions. Officials suspect a gas leak to be the reason for the explosion. "The explosion was probably triggered due to sparks when someone tried to switch on or off the ACs or fans", an official reported.
