Chhattisgarh To Execute Anti-Insurgent Mission With Help Of 6 States
Chhattisgarh has planned to execute an anti-insurgent mission in collaboration with 6 other states, with which it shares common Maoist corridors. This aims to tackle insurgent activities like organized crime and drugs and weapons trafficking comprehensively. Among the states, 5 are border-sharing with Chhattisgarh - Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha and Jharkhand - and remaining one is Bengal. Reportedly, all the states concerned have agreed on this.
