Coal Ministry Launches Website For Researchers

The Ministry of Coal has launched a new website with an aim to promote the research and development arm of the sector in India. The website will provide guidelines for researchers wanting to pitch their ideas before the ministry. It will also hold the details of the ongoing projects, and will enhance transparency to avoid repetitions of the projects by other researchers. Besides, it will contain information about new areas identified by a high-level committee, where new researches can be undertaken. Anil Jain, Secretary of the Coal Ministry, said, “The website will help in disseminating and promoting the knowledge and research work in the coal sector.”
