Comedian Kunal Kamra Refuses To Tender Apology To Supreme Court
Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, in an affidavit filed before his case's hearing on January 29, refused to apologise for the jokes he made on the Supreme Court. Besides, the affidavit read that if "powerful people and institutions" continue their intolerance then "we would be reduced to a country of incarcerated artists and flourishing lapdogs." He said that it is not the criticism or commentary but the judiciary's own actions that create perceptions in public mind.
