Congress Activist Shot Dead By Relative In Jharkhand's Dumka District
A female Congress worker was shot dead by her husband’s relatives in Jharkhand's Dumka district on November 7. The 35-year-old Pushpa Himatsingka was murdered in broad daylight in her shop. Husband of the deceased has accused his nephew for firing at his wife following business disputes. The family also blamed the police for neglecting their complaints regarding threat to Pushpa’s life. Her son Keshav(12) said the shooters also tried to shoot him and his father.
