COVID Vaccine For Frontline Workers By Late January At Rs 500-600
Indian government is planning to grant approval to Serum Institute of India (SII) for emergency use of Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. With this, the country can get its first vaccination drill by late January-early February. However, the formal application from the SII will be submitted in December once the vaccine gets approval from the UK. The government is also eyeing to procure the vaccine at 50% discount, meaning Rs 500-600 for two doses.
