DMK-Congress Seat-Sharing Deadlock Continues Ahead Of Assembly Polls
Tamil Nadu's Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and Congress have been unsuccessful at finalizing seat-sharing agreement for the Assembly Elections commencing from April 6. While Congress demands to contest in 30 among the state's 234 assembly seats, the MK Stalin-led party has consented to grant only 20 seats, provoking a deadlock despite two rounds of talks. However, as per speculations, the Dravidian Ally may offer a Rajya Sabha seat to Congress in-order to find solution.
