Donation Drive For Ram Temple Construction Concludes At Rs 2,100 Cr

The mass donation drive for Ayodhya's Ram Temple was concluded on February 28, collecting approximately Rs 2,100 crore. Started by the Vishva Hindu Parishad on Makar Sakranti in January, the 45-day-long nationwide drive was reportedly the biggest fundraising campaign of the world. With over four million volunteers, one million teams participated in the door-to-door fund collection campaign, collecting donations from the President to commoners. Notably, the collection surpassed the estimated amount of Rs 1,100 crore.
