Former IAS Officer S Sasikanth Senthil To Join Congress; Will Campaign for TN Assembly Polls

Former IAS Officer S Sasikanth Senthil announced his political entry and will join the Indian National Congress on November 9. The 41-year-old diplomat who resigned from the civil services in 2019, quoted a "totalitarian attack on the country". He will campaign for Congress during the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. Senthil stated that he will counter the divisive forces and added, "Tamil Nadu people have always believed in social equity."
